About Samara Anjelae
Most of my life I have talked to the “seemingly” dead. I am a Psychic Medium, born in the sign of Scorpio. A shy extrovert, more appropriately a social introvert, I spend much time in nature, alone with Spirit, and talking to animals. I also use my communication skills with Spirit to heal. I have healing hands and am a healer, shaman, and mentor. When I am not working in an altered state with humans or animals, I like to create art. Love buttons, and anything I can paint and transform to another art form. I have many children. They all have different daddies—four legs, fur, and some drool. They also serve on my staff and have Reiki privileges.
When my staff decides to take some of my workload, I might write, rather complete, more books. My next ones should have more words in them then the first ones. The first ones were angel gift books and looked pretty on the coffee table or by the nightstand, and they did fly off the shelf so to speak.
I was raised in Ocalo, Florida and in Paris, Kentucky, and flew the state of Kentucky at an early age to spread my wings. Spirit called, and for twenty years I was “just like a butterfly” as my grandmother would say and landed in Oxford, Dallas, Minneapolis and Martha’s Vineyard. Somewhere in the metamorphosis, I changed my name from Sally Sharp to Samara Anjelae. Then I returned to my roots and realized all those years I wasn’t running away from Kentucky, just my family. Awe yes, healing my own soul wounds, to now help others heal.
Two degrees I hold. A Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mississippi and a Masters of English in Literature from Morehead State University. Both degrees are a paradox. The B.S degree was in Home Economics in 1980 and I am still trying to acquire kitchen utensils and operate mechanical household items. I was only in the department for the Clothing Merchandising major and to pursue a fashion career, which I did. And though I received my master’s degree 22 years after my graduate degree-sweet reprieve from the spirit realm-and made a four-point in a Masters in English, I still invent my own language. I say the pronunciation is just the way Spirit gives it to me; others might label it as dyslexic. Regardless of having had a highly prosperous fashion career, and an education that is rather useless unless you are a professor, I decided to embrace my decision to take the easy, conservative and traditional route of becoming a professional Psychic Medium and Healer. Now I am quite comfortable with that role and help make it easier for other intuitive artistic psychic souls to come out the closet.
And, yes, my Capricorn moon still loves academic recognition for my profession. I was a Certified Medium with the University of Arizona before the program came to a close. Which means we mediums were screened, tested, and evaluated on our ability and then certified if we passed with flying marks. Other notable mediums from U of A have been John Edward, Alison Dubois, and George Anderson. Now I am with the Windbridge Institute and continue to be involved with scientists and researchers.
When my staff needs a break, I might make a television or an in-person appearance, although the older I become the less I desire to be seen or heard. The NBC Angel Show: Angels II Beyond the Light in 1994 featured me along with notable guests as Carlos Santana and the late George Harrison. Staff was disappointed that they were not interviewed or flown to Hollywood. As fascinating as the national coverage, the return to my elementary school (town population 500) to read from my award-winning book was also memorable.
Never knew so many little ones valued my illegible autograph. I read from the box set Wonder Windows, which includes My Guardian Angel, My Fairy Godmother, and My Magical Mermaid. Wonder Windows won the (COVR) Visionary Award for the Best Children’s Book in 2002. Angels, healing, messages from departed loved ones, continue to follow me, and bless my journey.
As a little girl I used to teach classes in my playhouse. Of course, all my students were invisible to most. Today I still teach and hold workshops. Subjects still involve Spirit and usually some four-leggers.
Kindness is my religion. God is my source.
